PRE-TRAINING INFORMATION
ASC Motorcycle Training provides first class training tailored to the needs of each individual.Our aim is to enable the student to become a safe and confident rider with flexible courses to suit your timetable.
We know exactly the requirement to help you pass your test quickly, safely and as economically as possible, more importantly we train you to ride for life.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BRING BOTH PARTS OF YOUR DRIVING LICENCE WITH YOU, OR IF YOU HAVE AN OLD STYLE LICENCE THIS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PASSPORT.
WITHOUT THESE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMMENCE THE CBT AND YOU MAY BE CHARGED FOR RE-BOOKING.
A £50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING, BALANCE PAYABLE ON THE DAY.
DETAILS
Start time is 0930am at ASC Motorcycle Training, until approximately 17.30pm. Wear sturdy footwear (preferably not trainers).Bring a packed lunch; alternatively sandwiches are available from Dakins Deli Tea and Coffee and soft drinks are available on site.
We will provide bikes and all safety equipment, you are welcome to use your own bike provided it is roadworthy with a current MOT and insurance; you can also use your own helmet provided it meets current safety standards.
CBT training consists of five elements beginning in the classroom and culminating in a two-hour road ride. All being well, you will receive your CBT certificate at the end of the day.

Training will take place at one of the nominated sites:Risedale Sports & Community College
Scorton Events Centre
All sites are fully DSA approved.
It is important to stress that should a student not meet the required standard during the practical on site riding (Element C) they will not proceed to the road ride but will be required to return for further practice.
In addition if a student lacks the confidence to complete the road ride they will not be persuaded to complete the course, instead they can return to finish the training at a future date.
THE NEXT STEP
At ASC we can help you proceed to the next phase enabling you to ride any motorcycle (some restrictions may apply). The part two licence can be achieved on either a 125cc machine or a 500cc machine depending on licence restrictions.We can offer courses to suit your needs ranging from three or four day intensive training to courses based around individual lessons over a longer period.
